We firmly believe
Every human being is an artist (Beuys), and art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time (Merton). There is no reason not to paint (Hopper), because whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing; making your unknown known is the important thing (O’Keefe). So, rather than think[ing] about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, [let’s] make even more art (Warhol).

We provide artists with meaningful income that compensates them well for the value they bring to society through creation + ultimately helps minimize the idea of “the starving artist”
We encourage and provide our students with the fundamentals, allowing for continued learning, discovery, and art-making long after class ends
