Robin Burgin exemplifies what it means to be both right- and left-brained, toggling back and forth between a successful business career in consumer packaged goods and her own creative endeavors as both an artist and somatic arts instructor. It’s at the intersection of both of these worlds where Robin’s paintings come to life. Her work can be characterized as strongly expressionistic, with a focus on gestural movements, textural mark-making, and emotive color. Robin’s work has been featured in several galleries and other institutions in and around Southern California. Robin is currently pursuing her master’s degree in somatic therapy, which further informs her creative approaches.
